We are getting ready for a little fun at the park this spring.
Here's the thing.
Wes has picked up pigeon racing as a hobby.
In order to be competitive, you have to train your pigeons.
You do this by driving them to ever increasing distances and turning them loose to fly home.
This is what they call a training toss.
The thing about it is, if I'm to keep the park open It would be difficult ( think time and fuel expense ) to make the number of tosses needed for success.
It occurred to me that some of my wonderful RV guests might be willing to haul a box of pigeons down the road and turn them loose at an agreed on point.
( then toss the box in the trash)
That said, I will be looking for some RV Pigeoneers in the near future.
I am working on ways that participants might earn frequent flyer miles for future discount or some such gimmick.
More details to follow.
